You have been dumped digitally
A recent study that 13% have changed there facebook status without telling there partners. Only 2000 people were polled. I know there are things in life that you wish you had the “easy button”. However there are people that choose the path of least resistance.

I’d rather be a Groomsman then a Bridesmaid
First off it’s very impossible to see me in a dress. Nor would you ever want to see my in a dress. So the chances of me ever becoming a Bridesmaid are very unlikely. I’ve been a groomsman twice prior to this year. I’ve recently been asked to be a groomsman this year and next year I’d actual be the GROOM. I don’t think my days of being a groomsman is going to over anytime soon. I’d like to think I could be a groomsman one or two more times.
It’s so much cheaper and easier to be a groomsman then a Bridesmaid. That’s if you’re renting your Tuxedo’s. Unless you’re going to a wedding and the bridal party grooms are all buying custom Tuxedo’s. Once the guy’s are in there Tuxedo’s they don’t have to do much with there hair. Unlink Bridesmaids they have to get there hair & Makeup done. Besides they actual own there Bridesmaid dress that they might only wear once in there life or lucky if they could reuse that dress for another purpose. Being a groomsman is much easier then being a Bridesmaid.

So how am I getting to my wedding?
During a recent gathering with friends of mine someone mentioned what would my Grand Entrance going to be for my wedding next year? How am I going to show up? One friend suggests that my Finance and I should arrive to our Wedding Venue by Helicopter. Another Friend suggested a horse and carriage. So I figured why not write for today’s blog ideas that I would consider my mode of transportation. Since my wedding venue is a short drive from my house I was thinking the following:
1) Rolls Royce either a recent Phantom Edition or vintage one.
2) Mercedes S class or Maybach
3) 57 Chevrolet Bel Air
4) A 70’s muscle car. (Cameo or Mustang)
5) Farrari
6) Lamborghini

Groom’s Cake
This is a must for my fellow groomwars fan’s out there. As the motto of the website says “Weddings are not always about the Bride but also what the groom wants as well”. Groom’s cakes are becoming more popular these days. What original started in southern American is becoming more popular all over these days. The current trend of the groom’s cake is to reflect the groom’s hobbies, sports teams and other interests and passions. I’ve recently watched an episode of the show “Cake Boss” Buddy made for his sister in law’s wedding of a grooms cake. It was “The Boot” If you have seen beerfest then you would know what I’m talking about. “The Boot” is a larger pitcher of beer that’s shaped as a boot in which you drink from. I’m a big time New York Yankees fan and I’d be very impressed if I were to get a Yankees themed Grooms Cake. Time will tell.

Girls can get very jealous and create Drama
I’ve first hand witness how friends that I’ve know for a long time can easily change when someone has something they don’t. I’m in my upper 20’s and around the range in life a majority of friends am now getting engaged and married. My fiancée recently attend a Bridal shower of a friend of mine that I’ve know for a long time. While attending this Bridal shower another friend of mine finally had the chance to see my fiancée’s engagement ring. A few days after the Bridal shower this so-called long time friend who’s not engaged decided to let me know that my fiancée was flashing her ring around the whole entire Bridal shower. There was serious drama over this. I’m sorry it’s not my fault your almost 30 and not engaged, married or with kids yet. I’m sorry that I’ve worked hard to provide my fiancée with an amazing engagement ring. Plus if you have know my fiancée any better and realized the other factors going on during the party you would of never said what rude things you said.

Its 2/1/10
It’s February 1st. It’s the shortest month of the year and one month closer to your wedding/engagement party/proposal. It’s also Valentines Day this month. Since we are in savings mode, I’ve suggested to my finance that we should have a small Valentines Day gift budget. No need to break the bank on this Hallmark holiday. Besides the more we spend on each other the longer/harder it will be for saving towards the wedding. Be Simple. A card, some flowers and a box of chocolate is sufficient. Or perhaps something wedding related could work.
