Tis’ the Season to Ask her to Marry you
It’s almost Christmas and you’re ready to pop the big question. The holidays are the time of year when plenty of people get engaged. First off Guy’s great job saving hard for your engagement ring during this recession year. Christmas is almost here. Either you’re planning on getting engaged on Christmas Eve or Christmas day. Things to keep in mind before planning your big surprise:
1) Make you’re your digital camera/video camera is fully charged. New memory cards/disk/DVD’s to keep your special moment all to itself
2) If anyone is recording your special event ask them not to make any comments that would be picked up in the audio. (A friend of mine didn’t realize how loud he spoke during a friends surprise proposal and the families that watched the video heard his cheesy comments)
3) If there are any old people around (Grandparents or people with Heart conditions) let them know ahead of time. You don’t need uncle Jack having a heart attack right after your future bride said yes
4) Don’t be nervous and everything will go according to plan. If little things go wrong just go with the flow. In the end you the big “YES” is what counts
Wedding/Catering Halls love Christmas and New Years. One Hall I recently visited the manager said he hopes plenty of people get engaged this time of year so that they all rush to his place of business and book plenty of dates within 2010 and 2011. I’d be weary to think at this point in time that you could get married 10/10/10 or 11/11/11. When I went looking a few weeks ago both those dates at a majority of halls were already booked way way in advance.
